Lowe's has these amazing free building clinics geared for children in grades 1 - 5. However my son is 4 and is very capable of doing the clinics! They are held on Saturdays from 10 am - 11 am. My husband and son attended one today in which they built a train engine. My son had a blast! They give your child and apron and goggles. At the end of the clinic your child receives a patch to put on their apron!
You need to pre-register for these clinics and I suggest do it well it advance. They are free and fill up quickly. Each store is limited to 50 kids. It is a great time for parent and child to bond and build something together!
